The certified package is available if you live in an area where you must present blueprint drawings of your steel garage to the local building department. These drawings show that the garage is rated for up to 140-mph winds and a 30-psf snow load. The certified package is available at an additional cost depending on the size. Certified metal garages are built fully braced and include mobile home anchors if they are going to be anchored to the ground.

We usually start our 3 car garages out at 20’ wide and can go up to 30’ wide or more; however, the width will depend on the style of your vehicle and if you wish to have a side-entry. By parking along the length of the building you are saving money by not exceeding 30’ in width.  Remember 32’ and beyond in width will bump you into our commercial clear-span garages. Modular: A modular building is a structure where the materials are designed and fabricated offsite and then transported to the project location where each part is assembled. Many businesses may choose this method as it allows a larger building to be built more quickly than a traditional building given the parts have already been cut and designed to the proper specs. For the same reasons, it is also an efficient way to build a home.
There are three roof styles we have for customers to choose from; regular, boxed-eave, and vertical. The regular roof style garage is A-shaped and has curved ends, its sheeting running lengthwise. The boxed-eave roof garage has sheeting that also runs lengthwise, but its V-shape is flat all the way down. The vertical roof garage is shaped the same way as the boxed-eave, but as the name implies, its sheeting runs vertically.

A motorhome carport can be turned into a garage easily by just adding walls and doors to the structure. Many of our customers who purchase an RV cover online prefer adding side panels to cover one side of the carport for protection from harsh elements. While an awning from the sides doesn’t fully enclose the carport like a metal garage, it does provide the space needed for maneuvering your RV.

ABSOLUTE STEEL metal garages are available in widths up to 40′ wide; standard lengths start at 20′ and increase in 4’or 5′ increments until you run out of land. Our metal garages are offered in standard heights starting at an eave height of 7.5′ and can be increased in 1′ increments up to a 15.5′ eave height. A 15.5′ eave height can give you clearance of 15′-4″ on a 40′ wide garage!

The metal storage buildings we sell are available in many different sizes and designs. We recommend taking measurements of the area where you plan to put your metal building to start off. If you’re not sure which size would be best for your space, call us: We’d be glad to help you find a steel storage building that suits the dimensions of your property from our large selection of metal building kits. Other things to think about when you are browsing our selection of steel buildings for sale include the size of your garage door and options like walk-in doors, windows, extra braces, 12-gauge tubing, and taller sides. You can choose a color for your metal building from a wide range of options, including cream, brown, green, blue, gray, and black. Our color chart shows the complete list of choices.
Yes. We can make residential metal buildings in a custom size, but we charge the customer the price of the next larger standard size of metal buildings for sale. For example, let’s say you need a 17-foot-wide building and the standard widths are either 12 or 18 feet. We would charge you for an 18-foot-wide building in this case. This same rule applies to length. If you need the length to be 24 feet and the 26-foot-long model is too long, we can make the base 24 feet long, but it will be priced at 26 feet long. As you determine the size you want for your custom metal buildings, please remember that when we say 26 feet long, that includes a 6-inch overhang on the front and back ends, so the exact base is 25 feet long.
