Wondering, “Where can I find good-quality metal garages near me?” We have the ultimate storage solution for your vehicle, lawnmower, bicycles, or other valuable items. Alan’s Factory Outlet has a selection of metal garages with something for everyone. Our metal garage buildings protect your valuables from thieves and pests as well as harsh weather conditions, and storing your items under the shelter of a metal garage helps to keep them in good working order. At Alan’s Factory Outlet, we have dozens of quality metal carports and garages for sale, so we’re sure to have a portable metal garage that’s perfect for your needs.

When you order one of our metal RV covers, you get a choice of three roof styles: regular, boxed eave, and vertical. There is an advantage to choosing a vertical roof for your RV: Metal carports with this type of roof don’t experience snow buildup. Because of the roof’s vertical sheeting, the snow slides off the side before it can accumulate. The regular and boxed-eave styles have sheeting that runs horizontally across the length of the building.
Did you know that adding a high-quality metal garage building to your property could increase the value of your home? One study conducted by Florida State University concluded that the addition of a new garage could add as much as 13% to your home value. Of course, as is true with any home improvement project, the quality of the garage building will go a long way in determining what sort of equity gains you will realize over time.
This wood hardness list ranks 75 types of wood by their Janka rating. Explore our wood density chart to see which hardwood is the best for your next project! The Janka hardness scale measures the force that’s required to embed a steel ball halfway through a sample of wood. The ball is 0.444 inches in diameter and fired with increasing force. The pounds of force (or newtons if you’re using the metric system) needed to push the ball to the center is the Janka value you end up with. It’s a great way to measure how resistant a piece of wood is to denting and wear. Our Janka wood hardness chart shows how durable certain wood types are.
If you’re not looking for a fully enclosed portable metal garage, then a metal carport may be the way to go. Metal carports may be left open or partially enclosed, and they are usually very basic in structure, so they’re usually less expensive than metal garages. Triple carports, metal barn lean-to buildings, and 40-foot steel garages are also available options.
We also offer a variety of options with our Boxed Eave Style Metal RV Covers. You should consider purchasing an Extended Gable End for the back of your RV Cover. It makes the RV Cover stronger & it comes down even to the 3 Ft. Side Panels to keep the Blowing Rain off the back of your RV. You can also add Helical Ground Anchors, Close One End and/or the Sides To The Ground, & More While Ordering. Select from 13 Color Choices for the Roof, Side Panel, & Trim Colors. One of the most popular forms of travel used today is taking an RV cross-country! Travelling in an RV is an experience that not many people get to experience, and if you have, one that you don’t want to miss! In the 60’s and 70’s, vans were the way for a family or group of friends to travel in style and comfort; since then, RV manufacturers have built vehicles with more power, efficiency, and of course, comfort. An RV provides the comforts of home in a versatile vehicle that can be taken just about anywhere. There are plenty of parks and campgrounds across the U.S. to choose from, along with those in other countries if you’re ready for an adventure!
You’ve invested a lot of money in your RV, so it only makes sense to pamper it like a baby by garaging it beneath a metal RV cover. An RV cover is similar to a carport and works on much the same premise – it covers your RV from the elements and protects it from the damage inflicted by full exposure to the harmful UV rays from the sun. We offer a range of different metal RV shelter for you – each of them customizable to give you the best option for your RV, ensuring your RV stays looking its best in between cross-country excursions.
Our metal garages have passed the most rigorous tests by branches of the US military for strength and durability. Our buildings are in use by many fire departments, police departments, commercial companies and municipalities. Private, commercial, and government agencies from California to Vermont, from the Appalachians to Alaska, and from Iraq to Poland have become satisfied customers of our building kits.
Modular: A modular building is a structure where the materials are designed and fabricated offsite and then transported to the project location where each part is assembled. Many businesses may choose this method as it allows a larger building to be built more quickly than a traditional building given the parts have already been cut and designed to the proper specs. For the same reasons, it is also an efficient way to build a home.
Have you ever wondered where metal comes from, how humans figured out how to make brass, or why rose gold is just a slightly different hue? We’ve created a comprehensive chart of metals and their alloys: A list of common metal alloys like this can help us answer many questions we have about our metal tools, our everyday lives, and our universe! We’ve created a list of metal alloys and their uses, composition, and even where their metallic elements come from.
