Motorhomes and recreational vehicles serve as a second home, deserving the highest level of protection. Constructed with 26- or 29-gauge steel sheeting and 12- or 14-gauge steel tubing, our covers included warranties up to 40 years – a lifetime of protection. Since RVs are as varied as their owners, ProBuilt can deliver a wide range of steel motorhome covers to suit your needs, or design a custom structure just for you. If you can drive it, we can protect it.
Why do our customers need motorhome covers? Metal RV covers prevent the snow, rain, and hail from causing rust and otherwise damaging your RV. Metal carports are stronger and offer more protection than a cloth tarpaulin: Cloth can cave in and tear, leaving your RV vulnerable to the elements. And you don’t even need to own an RV to benefit from camper covers: For RV owners, they offer protection for a costly vehicle, but if you’re not an RV owner, a portable RV carport can also serve as year-round shelter for your car, truck, motorcycle, or ATV. And once your carport is set up, it requires no additional maintenance.
With Certified Units available in heavy snow and wind areas, there is no building structure we can’t build. We will also price match any comparable building from any competitor and beat it. Don’t delay! Contact the experts at Garage Buildings. For over 20+ years we have been providing custom metal buildings, carports, garages, sheds, and agriculture steel buildings.
Our sheet metal buildings for sale protect your valuables from thieves and intruders on your property, too. Instead of parking your car, ATV, truck, or bicycle outdoors where thieves can see it, store it inside your metal building where it is out of sight. Our metal buildings serve as a deterrent to thieves, who want to focus their efforts on easy targets. That’s just one of the many reasons why so many people choose to buy one of our metal storage buildings for sale.

Yes, we can make metal garages in a custom size, but we’ll charge you for the larger standard size when we do so. For example, let’s say you need a 17-foot-wide garage and the standard widths are either 12 feet or 18 feet. In this case, we’d charge you for the 18-foot model. This rule applies to length as well: If you need the length to be 24 feet and the 26-foot model is too long, we can make the base 24 feet long, but we’ll charge you for the 26-foot model. When figuring out the size you need, remember that when we say 26 feet long, that figure includes a 6-inch overhang on the front and back ends, so the exact base is 25 feet long.

Look at the top of a regular-roof garage and you’ll see a barn-shaped roof with rounded sides. It is the most economical type of metal garage. The leg height on regular garage packages is 8 feet, but at the top of the bend on the leg, you have an additional foot, giving you 9-foot legs with a 9-by-8 garage door. The boxed-eave and vertical-roof metal garage packages come standard with 9-foot legs fully enclosed with a 9-by-8 garage door. The boxed-eave style has an A-frame gable roof with a 6-inch overhang on both sides. The vertical style is also built with an A-frame roof and has a 6-inch overhang on both sides. All of the steel structures have a 6-inch overhang on the front and back ends. There is one main difference between the vertical- and the boxed-eave-style roofs. On the vertical-style, the roof sheeting runs up and down, allowing snow to slide off the side of the garage structure. On the boxed-eave as well as the regular roof style, the metal sheeting runs lengthwise. Also, the bracing on the vertical sheeting is attached under the roof, which brings an extra element of strength to a vertical-roof garage.

Alternatively, they may use it to tackle household repairs such as fixing a wobbly chair or a broken toaster. On the Boxed Eave Style Metal RV Cover, (A-Frame Type), the RV Cover comes with the Standard Horizontal Roof. The Roof Panels run parallel to the side of the Structure. Water will drain to the front or the back of the Structure. On this style you have the option of having the roof panels installed vertically for an additional charge. We recommend the Vertical Roof Style for the small difference in price versus the Horizontal Roof Style.

This metal hardness chart organizes different types of metal using the Mohs hardness scale, a metric used by scientists to determine the scratch resistance of different minerals. With diamond at the top of the scale at a score of 10, elements and alloys can fall along the metal hardness scale from 10 (the most scratch-resistant) to 1 (the softest). We’ve arranged common metals in order of hardness in our handy chart and in this list. Our list includes different kinds of metal from metallic elements like silver to common alloys like steel.
ABSOLUTE STEEL RV covers and shade ports are available in widths up to 40′ wide; standard lengths start at 20′ and increase in 4’or 5′ increments until you run out of land. Our carports are offered in standard heights starting at an eave height of 7.5′ and can be increased in 1′ increments up to a 15.5′ eave height. A 15.5′ eave height can give you clearance of 15′-4″ on a 40′ wide garage!
Here at Carport Central, you can find hundreds of metal carports online as well as metal garages. Metal carports can have open sides, open ends, or be partially closed. As they are without walls or have partially enclosed walls (side panels or cut panels), steel carports are also usually less expensive than the metal garages in our online shop. Our helpful building specialists will take your needs and budget into consideration when suggesting which steel building best suits your needs.

We do not allow customers to pick up their metal buildings. However, we do drop off metal buildings at our customers’ homes. Those who make this arrangement with us must assemble their metal garage buildings themselves. We do not recommend this option to customers because we like to supervise the installation ourselves with our professional assembly team. But if you assemble your custom metal building, you’ll save 5% on the metal building installed prices that we quote you. Customers who install their own metal garage buildings are not entitled to the one-year workmanship warranty, however.
