Regular roof RV covers are strong and robust. They have the roof panels lined up horizontally running through the length of the building. The A-frame RV carports are stronger and have a more traditional boxed eave. The Vertical style RV carports are the strongest and have the panels running from top to down on the carport letting the snow, dirt, and debris fall off to the ground. The Vertical style RV covers have a 20-year rust through warranty on the roof panels while the horizontal roofs on boxed eave and the regular style motorhome carports only have the warranty for buildings 36 feet long or less.
Yes. There are a wide variety of sizes available for our custom metal buildings. They can be 12 feet, 18 feet, 20 feet, 22 feet, or 24 feet wide. The triple metal buildings are built 26 feet, 28 feet, and 30 feet wide. We also have our 40-foot-wide models, which are available in lengths of 32 feet, 34 feet, 36 feet, 38 feet, and 40 feet. The lean-to is available in 36 feet, 42 feet, 44 feet, 46 feet, and 48 feet. The lean-to has 12 feet on both sides. With those models, the lengths start out at 21 feet and get longer in 5-foot increments. The available lengths include 26 feet, 31 feet, 36 feet, 41 feet, 46 feet, 51 feet, 56 feet, 61 feet, 66 feet, 71 feet, 76 feet, 81 feet, 86 feet, 91 feet, 96 feet, and 101 feet. They can be built longer than 101 feet as well. To make them longer than 41 feet, we simply attach two end to end. We recommend the vertical roof for any built 41 feet or longer.
If you’re not looking for a fully enclosed portable metal garage, then a metal carport may be the way to go. Metal carports may be left open or partially enclosed, and they are usually very basic in structure, so they’re usually less expensive than metal garages. Triple carports, metal barn lean-to buildings, and 40-foot steel garages are also available options.
